THEORY DERIVED

Theory Derived presents the cinematic and lush jaunts of the human soul and spirit. The project was originally conceived by Deviant and n.Dellis. As Deviant continued, Theory Derived grew into more than a studio project and became a groove-laiden live group featuring Terrel Hopkins on drums, Renato Cavhallo- the Brazilian sensation- on bass, and Deviant_Me on rhodes, synths, sax & flute.

Theory Derived currently works with a rotating group of local artists, always adding the variety of Miami's talented to the mix.

Incorporating rock, the direction of progressive, the depth of trip hop, and the swagger of hip hop, Theory Derived creates an indefinable genre-hopping sound using melody as the building blocks to build the structure of vibe and beauty. Theory is currently in the studio composing and crafting tunes that speak to the soul.
