The Theory Derived project has come a long way, and I like what is happening with the direction of the music and our developing sound. It is ever so slow, but its happening. We've already done some shows (pictures here!) and the turnout and support has been great. I truly appreciate it. For now, I've got to hunker down in the Tree House and write some new songs for TD, and also work on putting together those missing pieces.

Look for us around town as we've got a number of tentative gigs lined up for the rest of the year, the first being:

Opening for One Self & Dj Vadim (Ninja Tune) on Friday September 29, 2006 at The Laundry Bar, Miami Beach.

Let's keep this wheel turning. As usual, the message:

I've always had a wide vision for Theory Derived and what I'm going to get into first is soul music. What I mean by this is anything that gets at me/you/us at a deeper level. I'm no master, so it will definitely be a work in progress, hopefully yall stick around for the results. Don't hang around waiting for me to name drop every genre, good music is the goal, vibes are the key.
